Datebound stores the countdown information you enter—your event name, target date, selected theme, and a reference to an optional background photo—in a private App Group container on your device. This lets the Datebound app and its Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the same countdown.

This information is processed locally. PocketBuilt does not receive it, cannot view it, and does not use it for advertising or profiling. Your device backup may include locally stored app data according to your Apple and device backup settings.

If you choose a personal photo for a widget background, Datebound uses Apple’s system photo picker so you select the specific image the app can access. Datebound does not request access to your entire photo library.

The selected image is resized, converted to a local image without the source file’s metadata, and stored in the app’s private shared container for use by your widgets. It is not uploaded to PocketBuilt or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Datebound Pro is offered as an in-app purchase through Apple. Apple processes the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. Datebound uses StoreKit to confirm whether the purchase is valid and to restore it when you request.

PocketBuilt does not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide developers with aggregated sales and transaction information through App Store Connect.

You control the event details, theme, and photo saved in Datebound. You can replace this information in the app at any time. Removing Datebound and its widgets from your device removes the app’s local data, subject to any device backups managed through your Apple account.

Because PocketBuilt does not receive your countdown information or photos, there is no copy of that information on a PocketBuilt server for us to access, correct, or delete.
